Restricting permission for a role to only update entities, not create

Hi!

Is it possible to define a role with only 'update' permissions and no 'Create' permissions on an entity type? Example Usecase: SKUs are created via graph automatically based on supplier items so for the 'Data Steward' role, it should not be possible to create new SKUs however they should be able to update attributes & relationships on SKUs.

  The user need to have write permission in Authorization to either create/ update.  If the user has write access, he will be able to create as well as update.

  Hello Chaitanya Kobula , 

  As of now its not possible, 

  However, you can hide all the create option for that role so that they are not able to create anything, 

  Now that leaves the excel import , there i guess there is a planned feature coming soon to stop creation via specific profile.
