Deletion of Duplicate Records from Data Model

Hi Team,

Need help with a case where the user has created multiple duplicate records within the E-C Model and Variant model sheet. Tried to use the action delete for all the duplicate records but the system didn't consider it and all the records were untouched.

Can you please help me with this issue? Thanks in advance.

  Hi,
  I guess it is a bug, but I found the following Working to clean the E-C Sheet:4

  
  1. Create a minimal Excel with one new Entry in E-C Sheet (and only this Entry in the whole E-C Sheet) and upload.
  --> This Entry will be added to all Existing Entries

  2. Take the Same excel and Put the Delete Flag in Column "A" in Front of your E-C Sheet Entry and upload

  --> System will delete all Entries of E-C Sheet and E-C Sheet will be empty afterwards.

  3. Upload an Excel with the E-C Entries you want to have in there.

  I recommend Paul's answer. But sometimes, If data is already corrupted, data model upload functionality may not handle it well. In such cases, it is better to clean them via API calls.
