Can we have different context name according to entity type ?
Hello All,
How to manage different list of context for different thing domain entity type.
Scenario: List of Context are Country, Channel, Season, Marketplace.
Now, lets consider we have 2 entity type as chemical and article but we want to display the context differently.
Chemical Entity Type Article Entity Type
Country Marketplace
Channel Season
Thanks!

Hello Kajal
Did you ever get any feedback regarding this question through any other channels? It would be interesting to know.
If you have a test tenant, it should be a quick test to create the contexts that you referred too, adding them to the Thing E-C Model and testing that ... maybe have two "context level 1" and two "context level 2". You would have a Business Rule which adds the entities to the context, so that would be easy to control which type gets added to which context.
For me, the question is would be system have an issue with having double level entries within the Thing E-C Model!?

Eric already answered the possible solution part. Thanks Eric Sambach.
I want to confirm that Context definition is independent of entity types, So we cannot dynamically filter the context list based on the entity types.
Like Eric mentioned, we can have 2 sets of context pairs. All these 4 contexts will be displayed in the search app, manage context app but in the entity manage app, users will get to see only the contexts that entity is extended to.
If the users working on the Chemical and Article entity types are different, you can raise a feature request to show/hide context values in the drop down based on the role permissions.
