How to hide BC for different workflow having same entity type?
AnsweredHi Team,
We have "chemicalrequest" as an entity type.
For this entity type, workflow will be invoke based on "productrelevant" attribute value.
Condition: If the productrelevant =Yes, then Product Relevant Chemical workflow will be invoked.
If the productrelevant =No, then non-Product Relevant Chemical workflow will be invoked.
Same Roles are applicable to BC.
Few Business Condition are only necessary specific to non-product relevant and product relevant. But i can see all BC so i need a suggestion how can i hide the condition according to workflow.
Issue is with the Non product relevant chemical workflow. I dont want user to see the BC highligted in the screenshot. Currently Highligted BC are not mapped to non-product relevant chemical workflow.
Is it possible to hide the BC ?
Thanks!

Hi Kajal,
did you mapped BC to both context and self context level? If you do not want to see the BC in general section then it should not be mapped in self context.
Thanks

Hello Sesha,
If we only map the BC to workflow context then all the BC shows in Orange .
Thanks!

Hi Kajal Prajapati, did you find the solution. I think it should not show in under General when it is mapped only to workflow context. Please delete all mappings, BC and recreate it?

Hi Sesha
Yes, I tried deleting the BC and recreate but its the same behaviour.
Please confirm: If we want to mapp BC to a Workflow, then it is mandatory to map 2 context..1 with the self and 2 with the workflow otherwise the BC will not work.
Anybody, Please confirm if this is the standard mapping for a BC to work.
If other solution please suggest.
Thanks!

Hi Kajal,
Yes, system looks for first mapping, if it is empty, then it is not looking at second mapping (column).
Thanks

Hello Kajal Prajapati,
I can also confirm that for any BC to work , it must be mapped to two context.
Unfortunately in your case, because same user is working for both workflow, he will see both BCs all the time.
Thanks,
Shailesh

Is it possible to raise a FR for this kind of scenario ?

Hello Shailesh Rana ,
Well you can always try but i doubt it will be taken up sooner,
Alternatively what you can try is there is UI config feature where you can render general section of the "Things I need to Fix" collapsed by default.
Thanks,
Shailesh
